Christmas Cards

Yes your not seeing things ive finally made a start on making some christmas cards and I know im not the only one who has started. I say made a start not done a lot as been getting ready for my holiday, I can't wait only 6 more sleeps to go, Im going cyprus for 2 weeks on sat so wont be on here for a while, will start making cards when i get back so will update when i get back. Starlight Ladies Walk 2008

Hi Folks

Well i did it completed all 13.5 miles last nite for St Rocco's Hospice, im really pleased with myself as i didnt think i could with my back but i forced myself to do it i was very determined, we started the walk at 12am well by the time we got out the gates to start it was 12.20am and we finshed at 4.45am so not too bad, i was glad to see my bed at 05.20am. Im deffo feeling it now by back and legs hurt but it was all for a worthy cause. for more info on the cause look below at my earlier post.

i have also made some new cards but i have sent them without taking photos coz im stupid!! i have ask my mum's friend to take photos when she recieves the cards so i will post the photo's when i receive them!!

New Cards!!!

Hi hope everything is OK with everyone!!

My whole family have been making cards this week its seems i have given them all the bug, unfortunately the card i made my mum has already posted to my aunt so unable to take a photo, it was different to my usual style so could 0f done with some comments but never mind, therefore i will just upload my mum's and sister's card, as usual any comments are greatly received.

This card is the first man card my sister has made which is one more than i have done lol. Gemma found it really hard to do although it was quite simple in the end, backing papers and peel offs were used.

My mum has also made a card for her friends birthday please leave any comments for her, she used peel offs as to be honest they were the only things she could reach as me and my sister had taken over the lounge floor and she daren't move anywhere,

Here is my sister's 2nd card made for her boyfriend mum and dads 40th wedding anniversary, Gemma got a bit adventurous with this card has she used the cuttlebug, heat embossing, peel offs, ribbon and gems. although i did help her with this.

New Cards!!!

hi here is a couple of cards i made earlier this week and what a busy week its been!! Went to see westlife in concert on wednesday night so that was very entertaining!!!







This is the baby card made using papermaina dome stickers, ribbon, and embelishments. as this is my fist card of this type any comments will be greatly recieved!

Get me few more cards done

Hi don't know whats happening at the minute I'm finding time to make some cards. Received 2 more penny black stamps from eBay today not happy both were from the same seller and described as new stamps, when they arrived 1 is filthy with black ink so has definitely been used, it is worse then all my used ones put together so had to get a baby wipe on to it, the other 1 is clean but has also been used you can see the ink on the stamp so not impressed at all, anyway I have made 2 birthday cards 1 for a friends 21st so let me know Wat u think, will speak soon

Finally New Cards!!!

Well it has taken me a long time to find some time for myself, never mind making cards but i had a couple of hours spare last night so made some cards, i had a anniversary card to make for my 1st order, a 18th birthday card and a general birthday card, I have recently taken delivery of some new penny black stamps (6 in total lol !!!!), which i couldn't wait to use and i bought my first Tilda stamps which i have not had chance to use yet hopefully i will find some more free time soon!!! So here is the final results please let me know what you think as if i don't know how I'm doing i cant improve!!
























The card on the top left is the general birthday card made using the swiss dots embossing folders, i have also used a new penny black stamp which i have coloured in using whispers pens, and some peel offs!!

Card on the right is again a new penny black stamp again coloured in whispers pens and peel offs with some balloon backing paper, and a flower brad!!!

The card to the left is a anniversary card made with the swiss dots embossing folder peel offs and gem stones !!

Starlight Ladies Walk 2008

Hi Everyone,

i am going to be completing a sponsors 13mile walk in the aid of St Rocco's Hospice the walk is on the 20th June 2008 and starts at midnight. St Rocco's Hospice is a place that has helped many family friends who have suffered with cancer and have always cared for them to the very end, the most recent was my best friend's grandad Joe who sadly passed away on the 4th may 2008, they cared for him for the 2 and half weeks he stayed at the hospice not only do they care for the patients but are also a rock and a great support for the families as well.

Here is a little more about St Rocco's Hospice who provides specialist care and support for patients with cancer and other progressive illnesses in the Warrington area. Quality of life is at the centre of our philosophy. Care is given within a 10 bed inpatient unit and 15 place day unit. A huge range of services include complementary therapies, symptom control, nursing care and family support. All these services are offered completely FREE of charge in an atmosphere of love and care.

Now this is where you come in, i feel a little cheeky but at the end of the day if you don't ask you don't get: if you are in a position to do so please could you sponsor me for the walk all money goes to St Rocco's Hospice for the new day unite expansion which will help to improve facilities and enhance the care given to patients and their families, so you will be helping to make a really big difference

My Blog

hi everyone hope everyone is well, sorry i not been around for a short while have had a lot going on at the min, losing 1 of my friends in terrible circumstances, most of you will know from my do crafts posting. Ive also split up with my boyfriend of 5yrs which i have found hard to deal with, and finally my best friend's grandad is gradually getting worst with his cancer he is like my grandad as i have known him since i was 2yrs old, we are not allowed to see him as he is now too ill!!! anyway due to this and other things i.e my wii fit i have not made many cards, although the amount of birthday's on the way i best get cracking my sister's is on Tuesday so i know what i will be doing this weekend lol, once i have created the masterpiece i will upload on my blog love Sara x

p.s just to update my friend's grandad has lost his battle with the cancer this morning, R.I.P Joe !!!
