Wedding card

Evening guys I realise this is a late post but I can't sleep, probably as I have been in bed for most of the day with the worse hangover of my life, let's just say I was a little worse for wear,

I have to say though it was one of the funniest weddings I have ever been too, the wedding was in Ramsbottom which is mile away from me, my dad kindly tool me and my friends to the wedding, he dropped us off half way up the steep hill, as the car didn't like it and we were ok walking when we noticed we were at the back of the place we found some stairs omg they were so steep and old it was untrue after mastered the few stairs by holding on the walls there was a forest trail over the path which mustn't of been used for 20yrs how me and my friend mastered it in heels I will never know but we couldn't stop laughing, my thighs are killing from holding myself up, I have some pictures so u know what I mean.

Now for the card I made for the wedding I used a Mo Manning digi, papered from Claire Curds paper pack and image was coloured in with pro markers, the heart dolly, pearls and ribbon was from my stash,

one of my friends is 30th years old this month and is a avid sports fan, we all watch the rugby games together fingers crossed we will be going to the super league grand final and challenge cup at Wembley again this year.

We both support the same teams as well so I was quiet happy to make this card, using the correct colours,

Christening Card

Good afternoon

I hope everyone has had a lovely bank holiday weekend, I have been to work today so was up early this morning at least it was only half day and although I'm back to normal as from tomorrow at least it is a short week and soon will be weekend again,

Today I'm here to show you my latest creation, again this was a very quick make, Mt friends are just the best and I'm far too good to them, early Saturday evening my friend realised she had forgot to get a card for a christening she was attending Sunday morning, luckily i had no plans and was able to rustle a card up for her, a late night followed by early morning as I needed to deliver the card to her in time.

I also made a matching candle.

What a glorious day

Hi Everyone


I hope you have all had a good day and are still getting the gorgeous weather, It's extremely hot here,  I have actually got my legs out!!!

This is my 1st card where I have used a Neighbourwood stamp to promote the Desmet Designs special offer on these stamps, I have coloured the stamp with Promarkers and the papers are from sweet owl paper pad and also Bloom and grow by My Minds Eye.


I have been so busy lately I've been neglecting my blog, I will have plenty more time soon and will be making loads of cards in the upcoming weeks.

I'm sorry the picture isn't great, I'm struggling with the light.

Hi folks

I'm really sorry I've become a really bad blogger yet again. I'm very sorry it's just that I am extremely busy at the moment, so much to do and not enough hours in the day, I work full time and when I get home I am so tired but try my best to keep going, my best friend has asked me to be a bridesmaid in September and since I split up from my boyfriend I have piled on the weight, therefore I'm on operation bridesmaid dress I started weight watchers on Jan 23rd and to date I have lost 1 & 1/2 stone, go me!!! My next weigh in is tomorrow fingers cross I've lost as its the first time since Easter which brings me on to my card, as I'm on a diet I informed friends and family I DON'T WANT ANY EASTER EGGS!!!!  They obliged and I didn't get a one, my friends 8yr old received 20 eggs yes 20 and Sam informed Molly she was very lucky as I haven't got a 1, Molly asked why and Sam told her I'm on diet, apparently according to Molly it's Easter and I'm allowed a treat of chocolate, therefore she has given me one of her Easter eggs, how sweet!!!!! I was shocked to received my gift when Sam brought it to me in work, So I have had to make a thank you card to give to Molly.

Desmet Design Challenge No 2!!

There is a new challenge over on Desmet Designs really where did march go, the year is going way too fast, blink and you may miss it.

Anyway This months challenge is titled Pins & Needles, We want to see you using any type of pins and needles from hat pins to knitting needles to baby nappy pins, plenty of ideas.

A Very Quick/ Last Minute Card!!!

Evening

A quick post to show a card I made this Friday, it was unplanned as I was only asked by a work colleague at 7pm to make it, when was it needed Saturday morning yes you read that right, not even 24hours notice!!, Why do non card-makers think it takes two minutes to make a card., I'm sure they don't realise the thought and effort that we put in!! Anyway I made it for the following reason, my friends grandad is very poorly and the card was for her grandma's 80th birthday. Well i started the card at midnight, I don't know where the time went that night and was in bed by 1:25am all done,think it was the fastest card I've made.

Thankfully my friend loved the card which is a very good job as I was up for work at 6am and very tired.

My friend had sent a photo to me that she wanted on the card, added bonus no image to colour, so here is the card

Apologies for the poor photo, I had forgot to take one so it was done at work where there isn't a great deal of light.

1st DT Card For DESMET DESIGNS

Morning.

First of all I need to apologise, I set a post to publish on the 1st of march, it hasn't happened and i don't know where it is, so here is a new one, I've had no Internet since then as the router packed in, so this might have something to do with it as it was playing up a couple of days before hand,

Thanks for popping by, I'm really sorry i have not been around, i know i say it often but i do mean it. life's been hectic, hopefully that is about to change.

While i have been away i have made the odd card.

This weekend i went on the yearly craft retreat to Dolgellau. It was a fantastic weekend and a good time had by all, i even made 3 cards while i was away.

I will show you a few cards i made a little while back. i was asked to make Little's girls 1st birthday card and a 21st card both cards were orders.

Omg, Can't believe it's been so long!!!

I'm really really sorry I've not been around since march, had lots going on, too much to mention, but mainly working, i have not had many hours free as i would like to have had, but i have been crafting along the way, i have got plenty of orders coming out of my ears, i have Christmas cards obs, birthday cards, my friends wedding invites, candles and some trinket boxes, so I'm going to be a very busy bee in the not so distant future.

however i have recently made some cards, so i will hopefully show you in the coming days.....

Amazing 3 Cards to Show today

Evening all

I'm still around, I just haven't had a minute to myself over the last couple of weeks but i've got a lot of orders at the min, lots of friends birthdays and lots of friends having babies or are now expecting, so you should be seeing quite a few cards throughout the week!!! Tonight i have 3 cards to show you.

The first 2 cards were an order from my mum.... not been paid though lol!!!

My mum's best friend and one of her daughter's share the same birthday and next week is a birthday for the other daughter so that card will feature shortly.

Now to the cards!!!

I made the first card at the craft retreat last week and was made following the challenge set by Shell which was white on white, this is the first time i have used this technique but i really enjoyed the finished article.
