Get Well Soon Card

Hi me again another card finished!!!

This one is a get well soon card I made for a friend from work who has recently been in a car crash, and suffered damage to her sciatica nerve and swelling to the spine, which she is in a lot of pain with. The accident was caused when a hgv wanted to take the motorway but was in the wrong lane and basically took Vicky with him she was very lucky as she was spinning down the slip road and stopped just before she went on to the motorway so things could of been a lot worse, Vicky's Nana who is 78yrs old was also in the car with her and she is OK no injuries just shock!!

So here is the card:

Pearl brad to secure flowers.

Birthday Card/ Saturday's Sketch Challenge

This is a card I made for Krafty Kat over on docrafts, the card also matches the sketch so I'm entering the sketch challenge this is the 1st challenge I have taken part in and really enjoyed it so will be entering more.

The colour scheme of the card as taken me out of my comfort zone, as i don't tend to use this colours, and I'm not sure whether I like the card yet, it seems to be growing on me.

so here it is





I have used basic grey DP, Dottie download, coloured in with whispers, flowers from stash and a pearl brad to secure.

Craft room

I have a new craft room, well its kind of a room and its not all mine, but its deffo a new craft space!!! i will explain mum n dad have recently had the loft floored and re insulated so for the job to be done the loft was cleared out leaving a huge space. Anyway dad ask me to move my craft stuff out the way as it was starting to take over, so he suggested the loft i wasn't sure at 1st until i saw the size of it so now i have taken over and moved everything up there and there is still room to craft so that's where i will be going to make cards in the future, hopefully now i can get some peace and quiet therefore getting more cards made its a win win situation.

Birthday Card

Here is the birthday card i promised i would upload, i made it for Maureen from docrafts, who is in the birthday club i organised on the site, if anyone wants to join just MSG me and i will add you to the list, every month i email a list of birthdays in that month and its up to you who u make for any way here is the card:

it was made using a Penny Black image i have received in a swap, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots ef, pearl brads, flowers and peel off sentiment.

Customer Service

Well i was extremely impressed when i received both orders from glitterpot and cutting edge crafts first thing sat morning, as i said in my earlier post i had only ordered the goods Friday lunchtime and they arrived at 9am, i wasn't impressed though at the time i got woke up my sister has ordered some clothes from the catalogue and parcel net thought it was quite OK to knock on the door and wake the whole house up wait for it At 7am on a sat morning are they mad so there went my lie in as i couldn't get back to sleep if i tried so wasn't happy.

royal mail cheered me up with the parcels though for a change!!!

so three cheers for glitterpot and cutting edges crafts, i will definitely be ordering from you both again, fantastic customer service which makes a change

Oh im so naughty!!!!

i have just been browsing on glitter pot website when things started falling into the basket i dont know what happened but then my debit card flew out of my purse and before i knew it the order was processed ooooooppppppppsssss

well i ordered it at 12.00pm today and i have just had a email to say the order has been shipped, i cant wait for it to arrive now

i ordered some penny black stamps, cuttlebug embossing folders and some bazzil card stock

then i accidently went on cutting edge crafts for an embossing folder that was out of stock on glitter pot, and it fell in my basket so i had to buy didnt i, and i have already had a email to say that has been shipped so it looks like im going to be reciving very good customer service from these guys well impressed and exited now!!!!

Blog Face Lift

Hi all well i have been blog hopping i just havent been posting as for 1 i have not made a lot of cards and 2 what i have made i have forgot to take a pic of and 3 i havent liked any of the things i have made i have really lost my mojo at the min..

But as you can see my blog has had a face lift thanks to Donna over on Crafty Krafts who is offering her services free of charge until december so go and have a noisy if your interested
