Omg, Can't believe it's been so long!!!

I'm really really sorry I've not been around since march, had lots going on, too much to mention, but mainly working, i have not had many hours free as i would like to have had, but i have been crafting along the way, i have got plenty of orders coming out of my ears, i have Christmas cards obs, birthday cards, my friends wedding invites, candles and some trinket boxes, so I'm going to be a very busy bee in the not so distant future.

however i have recently made some cards, so i will hopefully show you in the coming days.....

here is a couple to start with, i was asked to make two cards for twin boys, a christening card and a 1st birthday card as they were on the same day.

Amazing 3 Cards to Show today

Evening all

I'm still around, I just haven't had a minute to myself over the last couple of weeks but i've got a lot of orders at the min, lots of friends birthdays and lots of friends having babies or are now expecting, so you should be seeing quite a few cards throughout the week!!! Tonight i have 3 cards to show you.

The first 2 cards were an order from my mum.... not been paid though lol!!!

My mum's best friend and one of her daughter's share the same birthday and next week is a birthday for the other daughter so that card will feature shortly.

Now to the cards!!!

I made the first card at the craft retreat last week and was made following the challenge set by Shell which was white on white, this is the first time i have used this technique but i really enjoyed the finished article.

Another Card Yes 2 in 1 week!!!

I have made this card for a lady at work, who is off ill at the moment! I have used a Stamp from Lily of the Valley called Dandelion Clock, I just love these stamps at the moment, I can't wait till payday so i can get my hands on a few more ;-) .

The coloured image with Promarkers and added some Stickles

As you may have noticed i have managed to get myself a Watermark for my pics which i thing is very useful tool to have. I have also purchased a new signature so everything matches lol!!

your can purchase your own for a couple of pounds from Whismy stamps, where i received excellent service why don't you go and see if you can find a design you fancy.

If you need to now how to add a watermark to your pictures there is a tutorial here.

A first for a long time- I've made a card!!!

Just a quick post, Sorry not been around for a couple of weeks i've been busy busy busy!!!!


At the craft retreat a couple of weeks ago I won a gorgeous stamp by Hangler and Stangler Thank you so much Margit!!

I was set a challenge by the lovely Patsi which was..... If Patsi didnt see a card on my blog with the image used, my stamp would have to live with Auntie Patsi for a whole month!!!

I couldnt let that happy so here it is.....


I made the card for one of my Best Friends Vickie as it was her birthday!!

A fantastic weekend had by all who attended!!

Evening all

I have spent the weekend at a Craft Retreat in Prestatyn, organised by the lovely Patsi, who did a tremendous job organising the whole weekend. We all arrived on Friday, had a lovely tea and then the drinks flowed. Saturday we crafted all day, completing challenges and watching demos by Patsi, Shell and Nat, Sunday was the same as sat with demo's by Sally-Anne and Sharon. I took part in all of the challenges and made 6 cards, which is a first for me!!!!

as promised here are the cards i made at the craft retreat minus one as i want to add something else to it, so will upload when complete, So here goes with the rest ..

1.

This card was made following a sketch which was provided by Jen, but there was also some conditions, we had to follow some elements and the card made needed to be for a male.

I coloured the image which is a digi from Victoria Case with my new promarkers and then i

distressed the image, the papers were given to me by Sally-Ann so i don't know where they are from. The brads used were from my stash.

2.

The challenge Sally-Ann gave us for this card was to make a shaped easel card but as a added extra we could only use 6 different items, hence the same image. Sally-Ann showed us a range of different shapes including a brilliant heart shaped card.

i used a Hangler and Strangler image which i coloured using my new promarkers and distressed with distress inks, the papers are My minds eye.. i just love this pack, ribbon and card candy from stash.

This my box card made following a demo by Shell, I'm very impressed with my creation i didn't think i would be able to make one myself but it wasn't as hard to make as i thought it would be,

i used a Martha Stewart punch, the papers were forever friends, i decoupaged the image, flowers and pins are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

It's my birthday and i will cry if i want too!!

Hi all

Just a very quick post to inform you of the contents of the parcel!!! i was so excited i was about to burst!! i have been very spoilt this birthday, i have received lots of presents including a new handbag, and a few blue nose bears, anyway back to the parcel, Mum had wrapped the parcel up for my birthday just so it took longer for me to get into lol!!

For the contents see the picture below i was in complete shock!!!! Sorry about the bad photo!!!

Yes the parcel contained the full set of promarkers yes 148 promarkers i couldn't believe it!!! Also there is a penny black stamp there!!! I'm off to have a play

It's Friday!!!!

Hi Everyone

Just a quick post, I've been blog hopping looking for my mojo, i know one of you has stolen it and i want it back NOW!!!! Is anyone going to own up????

I must say i do like what i have seen, there is a lot of talent out there!!

I'm sure i will get back into it soon, i have a order for some candles 6 in total and also 6 altered boxes. I also have 4 friends who are expecting babies at the end of Feb 2 are having boys Leighton/ Benjamin and Matteo and 2 are having girls Isabelle and Darcie, I'm surprised they have names already so Ive got a couple of cards to make at least i know i need 2 of each!!!

Whilst typing this my mum informs me there has been a parcel dispatched.... OOH I'm excited you know what that means some promarkers are on there way!!!!

I hope to bring some recent work soon

I'm fed up!!

I thought this year was going to be a good one, well i was hoping after the last few years i have had, I'm not holding my breath anymore, I give up i really do!!!

Me and my now ex fella have ended our relationship so I'm on a bit of a downer at the minute!!! I'm hoping i can pick myself up quickly and move on but its really not that easy in reality.

A perfect time for me to get back in to crafting i think. To cheer myself up I've been spending some money well i already had spent enough, but I've since added to it lol.

I have received my order from Glitterpot amazingly good service only ordered on Sunday arrived Tuesday cant complain.

I received my Orchid Crafts order as well the other week, I'm looking forward to using them goodies.

I have received my new stamps from LOTV again no complaints brill service, cant wait to ink them up.

My latest purchase was from Sir Stampalot I am very impressed with this site unbelievable service, this is the first time i have used this store and to be honest i stumbled across it when the item was out of stock at a regular store i use. I'm so glad i did i will be definitely using them again. I placed a order at 18:35pm on Monday night the item was posted through my door at 10am on Tuesday!!!! yes you read right Tuesday i was shocked Ive never had service like it.

So i have one more parcel to arrive Promarkers which my sister is getting me now as my ex fella won't be!!! They should hopefully cheer me up!!

New year, New me!!!!

Hi Guys


I have really been neglecting you all haven't I!!! I'm really sorry i really am.

I promise from now on i am going to make a effort to regularly update my blog and show you my creations.

I have not been on here for over a year for many reasons, a new job, family problems and other commitments. The last you heard my dad was poorly after a op, well he was doing great until he had a heart attack, another operation followed and fingers crossed his heart is doing fine, he has even given up smoking which i thought would never be possible, so as u can see the last couples of years have been a nightmare and so craft time was very limited and i lost my mojo :-(


I am now looking to get back into crafting properly, and going to spend more time making cards. i have lots of ear ache from fellow crafts who are more than happy to have mt craft sash off me if i don't use it any time soon and i cant be having that now can i.


I am waiting for a couple of parcels to arrive, i asked my fella for some pro markers for my birthday which is fast approaching, so I'm guessing there is some on there way I'm so excited!!. I have also placed a order with Wild Orchid Crafts which should be delivered this week.
